Matthew A. Goldberg is the President and CEO of Securus and all affiliated companies. Mr. Goldberg brings almost three decades of experience in the insurance industry, and his track record speaks for itself. Mr. Goldberg started his career as a sales agent at Metropolitan Life and New York Life. After an award-winning career as a producer, he then transitioned to sales management and built successful agencies in Arizona, California and New Jersey. From there, Mr. Goldberg assisted in building a successful National Marketing Organization that was based in California before starting out on his own as the founder of Affiliated Mortgage Protection (AMP) in 1997. AMP re-invented the sale of Mortgage Protection life insurance, and doubled in size its first five years until it became one of the largest Insurance Marketing Organizations in the United States.
Mr. Goldberg is recognized throughout the industry as the innovator of the Return of Premium Insurance, and developed a duplicatible model for selling Mortgage Protection Insurance that has often been imitated, but never duplicated. In fact, he led Affiliated Mortgage Protection to over 100 million in annual sales and set the standard for sales and training standards. At Securus, he leads a management team that has created a platform and model for the sale of Final Expense life insurance and related products for the Baby Boomer and senior market segment that is poised to dominate this market segment as AMP did when it similarly revolutionized the Mortgage Protection niche. At Securus, Mr. Goldberg also assumes the role of National Marketing Director for the outside field force, and is hands-on in every aspect of the business. Matt has been married to his wife, Bonnie, for over thirty years and has two daughters, Melyssa and Lyndsay.
Larry Dickstein is Securus’ Chief Operating Officer. His background and education is in business administration and Computer Science and Information Systems and has experience in a vast array of executive roles, including legal, business structure, financial forecasting, planning and the development of technology platforms and solutions. Mr. Dickstein founded We Are Golden Computers in 2001 and served as its President and CEO. We Are Golden became one of the leading independent computer retailers and service providers in its region, and maintained a partnership or authorized reseller relationship with top industry names such as Microsoft Corporation, IBM, Apple, Hewlett Packard, Compaq, Ricoh, Acer and NEC. His background in Information Technology has been leveraged to build a web-based marketing platform for Securus that has been hailed by several insurance industry leaders as light years ahead of anything they’ve seen from any other Insurance Marketing Organization.
Thomas Graziano, Vice President of Operations for the nation’s most respected Insurance Marketing Organization, Securus, LLC. Thomas is responsible for the day to day management of the organization’s core departments such as Finance, Training, National Sales and New Business. Thomas reports directly to and consults daily with the company’s C.O.O. Larry Dickstein and CEO & President Matthew Goldberg. With over 20 years experience in business management & professional sales, Thomas is right at home here at Securus.
Entrepreneurial experience paved the way for Thomas’ career here at Securus. A successful 15+ year career as an owner and operator of a NJ based premier electronic systems sales, design and installation firm has developed the necessary experience and built the appropriate personal infrastructure and mindset required for a leadership role of any successful organization. Earlier years consisted of sales production & management positions for both Sony Corporation of America and Xerox.
John Kight, Vice President of Field Operations. In 1986, John graduated from Smithfield-Selma Highschool and was a three sport letterman all four years. He attended Barton University in Wilson, NC from 1986 through 1989. In 1989 through 1991, John attended and graduated from PGA business schools I & II. He played golf professionally from 1989 to 1993. He started Carolina's Group Development in January, 1993, where he engaged in building business teams until 2004. He was regional manager for Asset Protectors and Agents from 2004 through 2006. He was President of Capmar Annuity Solutions from 2006 though 2007 and was National Sales Director for National Agents Alliance(NAA) from 2007 through 2011.
Frank Buce, Jr., I began Senior Select in 1998 from a desire to help seniors relieve the financial burden of the high cost of funerals. Whatstarted then as a small business run out of the basement of my home in LaGrange, Georgia, has grown to be one of the top final expense agencies in the country. In our first year in business, Senior Select wrote a meager $100,000 in premiums. But within just over 10 years, we reached an astounding $20 million in premiums. That tough year in the beginning has made me appreciate even more all the successes of Senior Select.
Nick Burns, Nick received his Bachelor of Science degree in business management from LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia. After working a short stint in the corporate world, Nick realized that he is well-suited for the rewarding commissioned-based career path offered by Senior Select. Hired in 2003 by Senior Select founder Frank T. Buce, Jr., Nick began his career writing up to $250,000 per year as a personal producer. Through the years, Nick’s strong sales and customer service skills have helped build an extensive customer base for Senior Select.
Jonathan Burns, Jonathan gained his initial industry experience in a hands-on role learning the insurance business and getting to know Senior Select clients. Many years later, Jonathan now fulfills multiple roles for Senior Select involving selling, hiring and training, and tracking the quality of business. A natural people person, Jonathan enjoys meeting new people — especially potential Senior Select clients who eagerly share their lifetime of stories. Jonathan’s ability to blend his personal experiences with the wisdom he has gained from Senior Select clients makes him an invaluable resource for the company’s field agents.
Jonathan Arrington, Seeing an opportunity to better his lifestyle through a career he could enjoy, Jonathan joined the Senior Select team in 2005 after working as a real estate agent for 10 years. During his early years as a sales agent at Senior Select, Jonathan acquired thousands of new clients for the company. With his strong sales background, Jonathan has been responsible for helping the company grow quickly by using his expertise to train other sales team members.
